Serdang, 10 August –The Townhall Session for the University Driven Research Programme (UDRP), organised by the Office of the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research and Innovation), featured an important segment: a demonstration of the Research Altmetrics & Impact for Scholarly Excellence (RAiSE) System, delivered by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohd Amiruddin Abd Rahman, Deputy Director of the Research Data Planning and Management Section, Research Management Centre (RMC).
The programme, held at Mini Auditorium 1, TNCPI Office Building from 9.00 am to 11.00 am, was also attended by YBhg. Prof. Zamberi Sekawi, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research and Innovation), who earlier provided a detailed explanation of Universiti Putra Malaysia's (UPM) research direction.
During the demonstration session, Dr. Mohd Amiruddin gave participants an overview of the functions and capabilities of the RAiSE System, offering a clear picture of how the system can assist UPM researchers in monitoring and evaluating research impact and achievements in a more systematic manner.
This segment reflects RMC's ongoing efforts to strengthen the research data management ecosystem at UPM, while supporting the university's aspiration to drive academic excellence at the global level.
It is hoped that the insights shared will provide renewed motivation for UPM researchers to explore and fully utilise the facilities offered by the RAiSE System.
