RESEARCH PROGRAM & CLUSTER

The research cluster concept in UPM is in line with the current need for multidisciplinary approaches in solving research problems. It has successfully grouped together expertise in various research disciplines to solve specific research projects.

This structuring initiative is developed to strengthen research activities that should enhance research quality and productivity. UPM has established 11 Research Clusters. Each cluster;

 

1. Agriculture and Food (Pertanian dan Makanan).
2. Applied Sciences and Engineering (Sains Gunaan dan Kejuruteraan).
3. Biosystems and Biotechnology (Biosistem dan Bioteknologi).
4. Business, Economics and Governance (Perniagaan, Ekonomi dan Governans).
5. Environment and Energy (Alam Sekitar dan Tenaga).
6. Forestry and Biodiversity (Perhutanan dan Biodiversiti).
7. Humanities and Nation Building (Kemanusiaan dan Pembangunan Nusa Bangsa).
8. Halal Science and Management (Sains dan Pengurusan Halal).
9. Health and Well-being (Kesihatan dan Kesejahteraan Hidup).
10. Mathematical Sciences, Information and Communication Technology (Sains Matematik, Teknologi Maklumat dan Komunikasi).
11. Materials Science and Technology (Sains dan Teknologi Bahan).
