MyAgeing, RMC, Organized D.L.C. Series 7.0 Titled 'Living Longer, But Are We Living Better?'

SERDANG, July 17 - Malaysian Research Institute of Aging in collaboration with the Research Management Centre (RMC) of University Putra Malaysia, Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC), and the Malaysian-American Commission on Education Exchange (MACEE) successfully held the DLC Series 7.0 program entitled 'Living Longer , But Are We Living Better? '. There were 212 participants including the researchers from the Universiti Putra Malaysia and other universities were recorded. The talk was held at the Rashdan Baba Auditorium, TNCPI Office, from 12 noon to 5 pm. Also present was the Deputy Dean of the Malaysian Institute of Aging Research, Assoc. Prof. Ir. Dr. Siti Anom Ahmad as the guest of honour.

An expert from Fulbright, Prof. Dr. Connie Evashwick from the George Washington University, USA was invited as a speaker. She is an experienced healthcare administrator and academician who thrives at the nexus of management and academia, health care delivery systems and public health, long-term care and acute care

In addition to the program, a closed-door discussion was held on July 18, 2019, at the Training Room, MyAgeing Complex. This discussion was attended by UPM researchers as well as the industry discussing research and collaboration opportunities. Each of the 10 researchers shared their background and ongoing research. The objective is to increase the international collaboration of researchers from UPM.
