Serdang, 11 June 2026 – The Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) conducted the Internal Audit of the Public Sector Conducive Ecosystem (EKSA) 2026 as part of its continuous efforts to strengthen a conducive, systematic, and high-quality working environment.

The audit was carried out in line with the UPM EKSA Implementation Guide Edition 3.0, which requires each Responsibility Centre (PTJ) to conduct an annual audit to assess compliance levels, implementation effectiveness, and continuous improvement of EKSA practices across all zones.

During the audit session, special focus was given to the Research Management Centre (RMC) Zone, Research Management Centre, which was assessed at 11.30 a.m. The evaluation covered compliance with both general and specific EKSA criteria, including workspace cleanliness, space management, documentation, and good workplace practices.

The RMC Zone audit formed part of the overall EKSA Internal Audit for the TNCPI Office, which was conducted on the same day from 9.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m., involving several other zones under the same PTJ structure.

This initiative also serves as important preparation for the EKSA Workplace Quality Excellence Award in conjunction with the UPM Quality and Innovation Service Day (HKIP) 2025/2026.

Through this initiative, the TNCPI Office of UPM remains committed to strengthening a quality-driven work culture, improving workplace management efficiency, and supporting the university’s aspiration towards service excellence.
