Serdang, 18 June 2026 – The Research Management Centre (RMC), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), successfully organized a Briefing and Sharing Session on Proposal and Document Preparation for the Dana Pemacu 2.0 (MOSTI) 2026 Application. The session was conducted online via Google Meet and attended by researchers from various faculties and institutes across the university.

The session aimed to provide researchers with valuable insights into the preparation of research proposals, documentation requirements, and best practices for submitting competitive applications under the Dana Pemacu 2.0 funding scheme offered by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI).

The briefing was delivered by Prof. Dr. Mohd Adzir Mahdi, who shared his expertise and practical experience in developing high-quality research proposals. Participants were guided through the key elements of a successful proposal, common challenges encountered during the application process, and strategies to enhance the competitiveness of their submissions.

The interactive session also provided an opportunity for participants to seek clarification on funding requirements, supporting documents, and proposal development strategies directly from the speaker. The active engagement demonstrated the strong interest among UPM researchers in securing research funding and strengthening their research initiatives.

Through the organization of such capacity-building programmes, RMC remains committed to supporting researchers in enhancing the quality of their grant applications and increasing their success rate in obtaining competitive research funding at both national and international levels.

It is hoped that the knowledge and guidance shared during the session will assist researchers in preparing comprehensive and impactful proposals for the Dana Pemacu 2.0 (MOSTI) 2026 application.
