Taking into account the recent earthquakes which leads to many damages to structures and people injured, this innovation can help us to prepare for this type of tragedy.
The Vice Chancellor said that we are able to develop the technology previously only limited to mainly Japan and USA by exploiting our own researcher in UPM using our own capacity and natural resource, namely Malaysia rubber. Meanwhile, the Secretary General from her speech said that the ministry will help to facilitate the university and industry so that this local product will be available and marketed internationally.
