We are pleased to inform that the Institute of Defense Science and Technology Research (STRIDE), the Ministry of Defense as the Technical Leader of the Biological Weapon and Toxin (KSBT) Convention is implementing the KSBT Approach and Biosecurity Implementation Program.

The main objectives of the Program are to:

1. Provide awareness and raise awareness on the needs of the country's compliance with KSBT.
2. Provide information and raise awareness of the importance of biosecurity implementation in laboratories that operate biological agents and toxins.
3. Prepare a platform to discuss and evaluate together the level of biosecurity in laboratories.
4. Then strengthen the national obligation to KSBT through the implementation of sustainable biosecurity.

The STRIDE team intends to provide an explanation to the Top Management, Principal Investigators, Researchers, Laboratory Managers and officers handling biological agents and toxins at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM).

The information program is as follows:
