ISESCO 2018 Research Grant

Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) is a collaborative effort between the members of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) aimed at enhancing understanding and cooperation in education, science and culture.

In addition, ISESCO Center for Promotion of Scientific Research (ICPSR) is a special organization under ISESCO which aims to support and enhance the activities and advancement of member states in science and technology research. Among the ICPSR initiatives is the granting of research grants of up to USD10,000 for a two-year period to researchers under the age of 40 (individuals / groups) in member countries to conduct research in the following areas:

i. Nanotechnology;

ii. Health Biotechnology;

iii. Agricultural Biotechnology;

iv. Frontier Areas of Science and Technology;

v. Engineering Sciences;

vi. Medicinal Plant;

vii. Information and Communication Technologies;

viii. Applied Sciences; and

ix. Biological Sciences.

The applicant must have a Ph.D in the field applied and hold a position at a public university or government research institution where the proposed project will be conducted. Further information is as in the application form can be accessed at:
